at South of England Showground

Join us alongside other reenactment groups at the South of England Showground for 3 days of crafts & combat displays!

Family Fun Day
at Fort Purbrook
22nd June

Our group currently trains at Fort Purbrook, just outside of Portsmouth, and the Fort Family Fun Day is a chance for them to throw open their doors to the public & celebrate all the different groups & activities that happen there over the year (which now includes us!) 

Join us for a day of fun activities, meeting the various groups that call Fort Purbrook their home, and make sure you come along to meet the Saxons! We will have a variety of crafts to see as well as some combat displays!

at Rockbourne Roman Villa

The Romans (and Saxons) are coming! 

Join us at Rockbourne Roman Villa for a weekend celebrating the site, including living history camps, ancient crafts, tours of the site, and combat displays including Gladiatorial Games!

South Downs Show
at Queen Elizabeth Country Park
9th & 10th August

Find our encampment nestled amongst the various displays and atractions to celebrate the beauty of the South Downs National Park at this wonderful event!

Festival of History
at Arundel Castle
23rd - 25th August

Join us for this Festival of History spanning thousands of years as we travel from the Stone Age all the way up to present day! 

Our encampment will be nestled amongst Romans, Normans, 14th Century Gunners and Knights, with combat & archery displays throughout each day!

​Vikings Attack!
at Butser Ancient Farm

Come & immerse yourself in the Saxon & Viking Age!

Explore the living history camps of both Vikings & Saxons, as well as the beautiful Saxon Halls at the Butser Ancient Farm site! There will be crafts & talks, as well as combat & archery displays throughout the day!

Equinox Boat Burn Festival
at Butser Ancient Farm
20th September

Join us to say goodbye to Summer, and mark the Autumn Equinox with dancing, music & revelry! 

Explore the Viking & Saxon encampments with their crafting displays, listen to music, cheer the combat displays, watch the morris dancers, and howl as the boat catches alight!

Anglo Saxon Open Day
at West Horsley Place
28th September

Join us at the beautiful West Horsley Place for a day of Anglo Saxons! 

We will be bringing our living history & crafts, setting up camp in the house & gardens, showing visitors how the Anglo Saxons lived & crafted items. 
We shall also be demonstrating the weapons of the Saxon period, from bows & arrows to spears & shields!
